I worked my butt off in high school. They look at the personal essay in the application too. I live in-state so that helped. Good grades, lots of extra-ciriculars in high school. Apply early. Good luck! Fully recommend Madison!

I guess just do well in the actual academic arena, and don't get too wrapped up with extracurriculars...
